I love singer and actress Mandy Moore (pictured) - remember how great she was as the crusading Christian teen in the 2004 film Saved? In 2005, Mandy contributed her cover of the Carole King classic, I Feel the Earth Move, to the HRC double-disc compilation, Love Rocks. Mandy, like fellow actress Natalie Portman, has been vocal speaking out in support of gay rights. Mandy said at the time to Rolling Stone magazine "My generation knows that if two people are fortunate enough to fall in love, they should be protected equally under the law."
Moore has been under scrutiny by the media quite a bit in the last few years, not for her political views but mainly for her romances with boyfriends, actor Zach Braff (Scrubs) and tennis star, Andy Roddick. Now, an article in the American tabloid National Enquirer, is reporting that Mandy's mom, Stacy Moore has left her husband for tennis professional Claudette Laliberte. According to the Enquirer, the two women have been secretly dating since 2006 and now live together. When confronted by the tabloid about her relationship with Laliberte, Stacy Moore told the Enquirer, "It’s nobody’s business why we’re together." The affair apparently came to light after Laliberte’s lover discovered emails between the two women. There has been no comment from Mandy Moore.
